Disappointed
At this event, I was disappointed as it was obvious that Jon B. can't sing like he used to. I recognized the words, but most of his songs were almost unrecognizable; he was more talking than singing. I have always liked Willie Nelson's songs, but not the way he sang them. I think it is the responsibility of the sponsoring facility to make sure the performers that are being hired can still do a quality job. I do not feel I got my money's worth at this event, much as I have admired Willie's music and what he has done for the farmers in this country. I think Jon B. did the best he could, but it just wasn't the Willie of the past. He performed for almost an hour and a half with no break and no sitting down; I will give him this: I was also impressed at the time he took after the show to shake hands and give autographs.
